Victorian Architecture at the Heritage Square Museum

June 11, 2016

The Victorians were an interesting bunch.

Frivolous, showy, over the top, and often vying for the adoration of their peers... but god how we love them. Their fearless bold tastes and anything but cookie-cutter houses still until this day showcase their unique style, flare, and imagination.

Los Angeles actually has a beautiful collection of Victorian houses dating back to between the 1880's to the early 1900s that can be found around the city if you know where to look. One such place to find some of the most beautifully preserved Victorians are at the Heritage Square Museum, located off the 110 fwy between Downtown LA and Pasadena.
